There’s nothing better than working on a car. Well, there are a few things, but this isn’t that kind of website and you’re not in incognito mode. However, not everyone is born knowing how a mechanical fuel pump works, and that’s why I’m here to help you on your greasy journey of mechanical knowledge.

To start a new series eloquently called Ask Tavarish, I’ll employ every single one of my wits to answer questions that have to do with wrenching, DIY, repairs, specification questions, and my rants that may or may not be sponsored by a few too many whiffs of burning oil fumes.

You can email me at asktavarish@gmail.com or just post here if you’re not the direction-followin’ kind.

I’ll gather the best questions with least amount of slurs and answer them early next week, so you too, can know how VTEC isn’t “the same thing as a turbo, bro.

Tavarish is the founder of APiDA Online and writes and makes videos about buying and selling cool cars on the internet. He owns the world’s cheapest Mercedes S-Class, a graffiti-bombed Lexus, and he’s the only Jalopnik author that has never driven a Miata.
